"Our goal is to serve the foreign students studying in the Busan area. We understand that life for students in a foreign country can be difficult. The Sooyoungro Church International Student Ministry is designed to serve all students from all countries in easing those difficulties.
We assist students in Korean language and culture training, providing a context for building friendships, and obtaining assistance when difficulties arise. We provide worship services in 12 different languages."
Education & Culture
Studying in a foreign country with a different language and culture can be difficult. Our desire is to create a context for students to learn about the Korean culture and language. We provide programs for language training and cultural awareness.
To do that, we provide the below programs:
- Korean Academy
- Afternoon Class (Tutoring)
- English Academy
Events and Activities
As an international student it can be very lonely and our goal is to provide events and activities to meet other students. We will do this through planning a variety of events and activities.
Such as :
- Events with Other Korean Students
- Beach events
- Back to School Party
Student Assistance
Many students have struggles and issues while studying in a foreign country. Our desire is to provide assistance when needed. Those struggles can include financial and emotional challenges and we want to help through:
- Financial Assistance through Scholarships
- Care Box
